Food Insight: FACTS
The International Food Information Council was one of my technology rotations. One of their main goals is to help distribute relatable and easily digested (no pun intended) nutrition information for the general public. One of their weekly blog columns is call FACTS, which helps to separate the truth from fiction surrounding many concepts of nutrition and health. I was able to work on a few of these posts. Below is a link to an article I contributed to about the facts behind a current fad diet trend; the alkaline diet.
Abstract and Poster
I created an abstract for a projected I worked on at Wellness Corporate Solutions. The abstract details the efficacy and effectiveness of implementing a corporate wellness program. I also developed a poster-board detailing elements of my abstract. I was given the opportunity to present my poster at various events such as the MDDHCC conference and the DCMAND conference.
